Preparing your house for winter

Here is a very interesting video from Consumer Reports.

1. Turn off the water outside of your home.
2. Don't stack leaves next to your house.
3. Replace furnace filters.
4. Check for air leaks from your windows and doors.
5. Check battery in your smoke detector and CO detector.
6. Check the expiration date on your fire extinguisher.

Helen Keller
